TrailCraft works with most Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) ELM327 adapters including Veepeak, Vgate iCar Pro, KONNWEI, and OBDLink MX+/CX. WiFi adapters are also supported. We recommend the Veepeak BLE+ for the best balance of price and compatibility.
TrailCraft currently has enhanced support for Jeep JK Wrangler (2012-2018) and JL/JT Wrangler/Gladiator (2018+). Basic OBD2 gauges and DTC scanning work on any 2008+ vehicle with a standard OBD-II port.
2018+ Chrysler/Stellantis vehicles have a Security Gateway Module (SGW) that blocks write operations. You need an SGW bypass cable (like the Tazer JL or Z Automotive Z_SGW) to enable vehicle configuration changes. Read-only gauges and diagnostics work without a bypass.
1. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone.
2. Ensure the adapter is plugged into the OBD-II port and the ignition is on.
3. Do NOT pair the adapter in iOS Bluetooth settings — TrailCraft handles the connection directly.
4. If the adapter was previously connected to another app, try power-cycling it by unplugging and re-plugging it.
5. Force-close and reopen TrailCraft.
Open iOS Settings > tap your Apple ID > Subscriptions > TrailCraft Pro > Cancel Subscription. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
