Privacy Policy

What We Collect

TrailCraft collects minimal, anonymous data to improve the app:

• Anonymous Analytics — We use TelemetryDeck to collect aggregated usage statistics (app launches, feature usage, crash reports). TelemetryDeck does not track individual users and does not use advertising identifiers.
• Diagnostic Uploads — When you voluntarily tap "Upload to TrailCraft" in Developer Mode, anonymous vehicle diagnostic data (OBD2 readings, CAN signals) is sent to our servers. This data contains no personal information — only vehicle sensor data and an anonymous device identifier.
• Crash Reports — Anonymous crash reports help us fix bugs. These contain stack traces and device model but no personal data.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or location.
• We do not collect your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) — it is masked before any transmission.
• We do not sell, share, or trade your data with third parties.
• We do not use advertising SDKs or tracking pixels.

Data Storage

All data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure in the United States. Diagnostic uploads are retained for 90 days for analysis, then automatically deleted.

Your Rights

You can disable analytics by turning off Developer Mode in Settings. You can request deletion of any uploaded diagnostic data by emailing privacy@trailcraft.net.
